  The Call Before u Dig mobile application will connect excavators and asset owners through SMS/Email notifications and click to call so that there are planned excavations in the country while ensuring the safety of underground assets. It seeks to stop harm to underlying assets—such as optical fiber cables—caused by haphazard digging and excavation. In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic several governments had imposed lockdown in their respective jurisdictions to prevent the disease from spreading further.
