--:Farm Bill-2020:-- Since the Green Revolution in 1966 the growth in Indian agricultural sector has been increasing. MIGRANT WORKERS DURING LOCKDOWN

-:The Worst Affected Migrant Workers During Lockdown:- During lockdown the migrant workers had to face many difficulties. In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic several governments had imposed lockdown in their respective jurisdictions to prevent the disease from spreading further. In India lockdown was imposed on and from 23 rd March 2020 without any prior announcement. Workers worked outside their own state had been locked. Nobody would not know how many phases of  lockdown would be. When lockdown phases continued one after another the workers became worried. Food, money and every necessary commodity for survive ended. They became restless to return their home. A migrant worker informed, ‘’We had to spend day after day in starving. AAROGYA SETU APP

  Aarogya Setu  In the fight against Covid-19 in India, the Government launched a mobile application namely Aarogya Setu to connect essential health services with the citizens of India. It is an updated version of an earlier application called Corona Kabach now discontinued. Prime Minister of India launched Aarogya Setu App. It has been developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) that comes under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. To take a step forward for protecting the citizens, the government has launched the Aarogya Setu App in 11 different languages. This app uses GPS and Bluetooth features of smartphones to track the infection. It tells how many Covid-19 positive cases are likely in a radius of 500 m, 1 km, 2km 5 km and 10 km for the users. It helps in determining whether the person has been in close contact with any other infected person or not. SUEZ CANAL BLOCKAGE

CARGO SHIP STRANDED ACROSS THE SUEZ CANAL MAKE GLOBAL TRAFFIC JAM On 23 rd March 2021 a cargo ship stranded across the Suez Canal. It has blocked the global shiping transportation. Ever Given is the name of the stranded ship which is operated by Taiwanese transport company Evergreen Marine and is one of the world’s largest container carrier vessels. The length of the ship is 400m. and wide is 59m. It was carrying 20,000 containers and the total weight of the container is 2,24,000 tons. The ship was going from China to Netherland. When it was passing through the Suez Canal a gust of wind diverted the ship towards the bank and stranded there. But the Suez Canal Authority told the reporters that the wind is not only the reason for stranding. There may be other reasons. They also informed that an investigation would be needed to determine whether technical or human error occurred.
